The concert was very fun we had good seats down in the
orchestra off to the side. I hope we sit there for Aerosmith, I think if we get
tickets early enough we will. They go on sale tomorrow, and I hope Brian gets
them. The guards did a real good job off keeping people out of the isle so I
could see. I wonder if it had anything to do with my letter. We left really
late, to and traffic was horrible. Took us 45 minutes to get out of Newport
News! I’m really surprised we got there when we did, 3:30. Not bad at all
because we stopped near the amphitheater at Wendy’s to eat. I had my new ear
pugs in and they worked great, I was so pleased. None of the bands sucked,
liked them all. During the Sheryl part, this dude was really drunk, and was
acting bad and 5 guards had to take him out. It happed fast and I’m really
surprised they didn’t bump into my wheelchair, they got real close. Then right
beside us one guy kept harassing this one guys girlfriend (touching her butt,
and trying to grind), so the guards kicked him out! Lol, lots of action for a
Sheryl Crow concert. I’m thinking because people had been there together for a
long time. There were lots of little girls there with their family, which was
neat. Then…at the end as we were about to pull out a guy wanted to know if we
could give him a ride to 7-11. Brian said it was up to me; he looked like a
friendly guy, so I said sure. The guy was drunk and ranting and raving about
all kinds of shit. It was funny, but it made us real nervous at the time. Lol.
Like he keeping saying I got to get to Duck Island, and his friends had left
him, and he loved his girlfriend. Ever heard of Duck Island? Then he kept
saying I was fucking gorgeous and fine! Lmao. That made me really nervous so I
said if he’d say that 1 more time I was going to make him get out. Then because
I was nervous I couldn’t talk well, and he kept saying I was like those girls
on Jenny Jones that cussed for no reason. Then Brian passed the first 7-11 and
I about died. Lol. But everything was ok after we dropped him off. That was
about it.
